Technical Manager; Food Production

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Technical Manager to join a busy and growing food production facility. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the site's technical and quality function, ensuring products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

• Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with BRCGS Food Standard v9 and customer requirements
• Lead the site through 3rd party and customer audits
  , managing corrective actions
• Maintain HACCP plans and oversee site compliance with regulatory standards
• Manage supplier approvals, risk assessments, and documentation
• Handle customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution
• Coordinate internal audits and close out non-conformances

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a technical or quality role within food production
• Hands‑on experience with BRCGS v9 and major retailer standards
• Knowledge of food regulatory standards
• Third-level qualification in Food Safety / Technology
• Level 3 HACCP qualification
