Individuals in Quality Assurance, Monitoring & Testing are responsible for the assessment of outcomes from activities and processes against conformance with applicable requirements to strengthen risk management quality. This includes the development and execution of Monitoring and Testing for controls, such as control design assessment, design of operational effectiveness for monitoring & testing tools, monitoring/testing design assessment, and execution of monitoring/testing tools to assess the effectiveness of key controls designed to address defined risks.

• Support the assessment of activities and processes as per required Policies, Standards and Procedures to strengthen risk management quality.
• Conduct routine testing of internal activities and processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards and identify areas of risk or non-compliance.
• Review stakeholder/client feedback and respond to quality assurance complaints or issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Support quality testing performed for business function quality control and transformation lead quality control post completion of an activity/process.
• Develop and execute Monitoring and Testing for controls, including control design assessment and design of operational effectiveness for monitoring & testing tools.
• Report on quality control outcomes and control effectiveness to top management and relevant stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with latest quality assurance testing tools and strategies.
• Understand Citi Risk & Control framework and underlying fundamentals on risk.
• Help teams involved in end-to-end monitoring of controls as defined in Risk Management policy.
• Participate in review and challenge processes to design and manage controls that mitigate risks per Control Standards.
• Embed risk and control responsibilities within Central Testing Utility.
• Assist in Control & Monitoring Design Assessment (CMDA) meetings and drafting procedures.
• Identify monitoring breaks and suggest enhancements.
• Assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and maintaining ethical standards.

• Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry.
• Strong ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls.
• Expertise in developing and executing controls.
• Proven experience in control-related functions and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Comprehensive understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices.
• Familiarity with Citi’s Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
• Analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, engaging senior management.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
