Interim Commercial Estate Surveyor, London Local Authority, £400 - £450 p/day Inside IR35 Your new company Hays are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Interim Commercial Estate Surveyor to join a dynamic team at a Local Authority in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the management and development of the council's diverse property portfolio, ensuring the effective use and optimisation of their commercial estates.

Your new role Conducting property inspections and valuations. Managing lease renewals, rent reviews, and negotiations. Providing professional advice on property management and development. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. Preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records. Liaising with tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience as a Commercial Estate Surveyor, ideally within a local authority or public sector environment.

Strong knowledge of property law, valuation, and estate management principles. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., MRICS) are highly desirable.
