This role calls for a chef who can blend maintaining excellent standards, while working efficiently in a fast-paced, trend-setting, client-focused environment.

What you'll do:
  • Provide high-quality catering services for patients and staff dining areas.
  • Prepare fresh food including sandwiches, salads, starters, fruits, and vegetables.
  • Support meal service to patients — setting up trays, distributing menus, and delivering meals.
  • Deliver efficient meal service in staff dining and outpatient areas.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the kitchen, wash-up, and prep areas.
  • Ensure full compliance with Food Safety, Allergen, and HACCP procedures.
  • Record food temperatures, allergen information, and maintain hygiene documentation.
  • Uphold Sodexo and client service standards to achieve a 5-star rating in audits.
What you'll bring:
  • Previous experience in a busy catering or food service environment.
  • Strong understanding of Food Safety, Food Allergen management, and HACCP principles.
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in a catering setting.
  • Strong bakery skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and under pressure during busy service times.
  • Friendly, manner with great communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to support both patient and staff catering requirements.
  • Relevant catering qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 706/1 & 706/2 or equivalent).
