Area Sales Manager – Northern Ireland

Sysco Ireland is expanding its presence in Northern Ireland with the opening of our new Sysco Belfast facility at Nutts Corner, Co. Antrim. This transformational step brings enhanced capacity, efficiency, and career growth opportunities.

We are looking for a passionate, ambitious leader to manage and grow sales in the Belfast area. This role offers a rewarding career experience within a global organisation renowned for its food service solutions.

Key Accountabilities
  • Responsible for consistent delivery of sales, profit and volume targets for your assigned area
  • Responsible for role‑modeling and building effective relationships with key customers and stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Advocate and drive consistent use of all available system tools.
  • Maintain and strategically grow the customer base and market share in your assigned area, making us the partner of choice for solutions and range.
  • Be responsive and flexible to your customers' needs.
  • Develop and implement sales plans for your area in line with our Recipe for Growth strategy.
  • Drive the adoption of the Sysco Online ordering platform by existing and new customers.
Requirements
  • In‑depth knowledge of the hospitality, food & catering market.
  • Desired 3–5 years field sales experience within the food service sales market.
  • High level of flexibility.
  • Team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Proactive approach to customer needs.
  • Strong analytical skills and computer literacy.
  • Use of Salesforce CRM desirable.
  • Full clean B driving licence.
