Business Development Manager – Kainos Belfast

As a hunter Sales role, you will drive new business product sales for our SaaS solutions exclusively for the Workday ecosystem, including Kainos Smart and Kainos Employee Document Management (EDM). The role is based in Belfast and focuses on the North America Workday market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales cycle from discovery to close, maintaining accurate pipeline and forecast data.
  • Apply the Kainos Product Sales Process and industry standard methodologies such as MEDDPICC and SPIN.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand prospects’ Workday environments and challenges.
  • Prospect through multichannel approaches to identify high‑value opportunities.
  • Demonstrate the Kainos suite of Smart automation and EDM products, advising on ROI improvements.
  • Assess customer needs and explain how our products address them.
  • Develop and plan a territory sales strategy, cultivating relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Support marketing activities and events.
Minimum Essential Requirements
  • Expertise in the business‑development process and deal commercials, including construction of complex offers and account plans that drive success in large deals.
  • Proven ability to communicate, present and influence at all organisational levels, including executive and C‑level.
  • Successful track record in Enterprise Software or Solution Sales with consistent target attainment.
  • Strong networking, negotiation, and presentation skills (in‑person and remote).
  • Capability to travel to the designated sales territory at least quarterly.
Desirable
  • Strong academic background – degree level or equivalent.
  • Experience with in the Workday ecosystem.
