Sales & Business Development Assistant

THE EMPLOYER IS: WEE CHICKS FAMILY LTD.We’re looking for a confident, friendly person to help grow our business by finding new customers and building strong relationships. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys talking to people, making connections, and learning how a business develops and grows.

You’ll work closely with the management team and wider staff to follow up enquiries, reach out to new contacts, attend events, and keep track of sales opportunities.

Training and ongoing support will be provided, no previous experience required.

• Finding New Customers - Look for new people and organisations who may be interested in our services.
• Finding New Customers - Make phone calls, send emails, and arrange meetings with potential customers.
• Finding New Customers - Attend networking events and local meetings to promote the business.
• Sales Tracking & Follow-Up - Keep clear records of enquiries and sales opportunities.
• Sales Tracking & Follow-Up - Follow up with potential customers and move leads through the sales process.
• Sales Tracking & Follow-Up - Provide regular updates to management.
• Customer Engagement - Build positive relationships with new and existing customers.
• Customer Engagement - Meet with potential clients to understand their needs and explain our services.
• Customer Engagement - Represent the business confidently and professionally.
• Marketing & Social Media Support - Support social media activity by sharing updates and responding to enquiries.
• Marketing & Social Media Support - Help collect photos, stories, and ideas to support marketing.
• Team Working - Work closely with colleagues to identify and secure new business.
• Team Working - Share ideas and support team goals.

• No previous experience is required.
• Comfortable speaking to people on the phone and face-to-face.
• Organised and able to keep simple records.
• Customer service or sales experience.
• Networking or event attendance.
• Friendly, confident, and professional.
• Motivated and keen to learn.
