HGV Driver

We are currently looking for full time/ part time HGV Drivers (C) to join our busy teams at our site in Mallusk or Duncrue Street, Belfast. As a Driver you will be required to complete multi drop deliveries and collections throughout NI. The Driver will also be required to collect and move commercial containers when required.

As a day shift driver, you will start your shift m, on days as per the rota between Monday to Saturday.

• Ensure excellent customer service skills that support the River Ridge Brand.
• Ensure Health & Safety adherence at all times.
• Complete vehicle checks in line with operating licence procedures, reporting any defects to the Transport Office (both electronically and verbally).
• Follow all regulations relating to driver’s hours and safe operation of heavy goods vehicles.
• Working collaboratively with the transport team to ensure excellent operational service is maintained, and continually improved.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Undertake all necessary training and cooperate with the security clearance process as required.
• Any other duties as delegated by the Transport Department.

• Must hold a valid HGV licence - Category ‘C’.
• Must hold a Digital Tachograph card and Full Driver CPC.
• Full UK Driving Licence (Max of 6 penalty points).
• Basic disclosure checks i.e., Access NI, will be required and should be maintained.
• Ability to undertake manual work.
• Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Good knowledge of driver’s hours, rules and regulations.
• Minimum of 6 months HGV driving experience
• Previous experience working in the waste industry

Flexible approach to working hours is required in relation to finish times, weekends, and bank holidays

Competitive Hourly Rate - Competitive Hourly Rate - £15.73ph Day shift
