Freelance opportunity: business process validation (BPV) test lead

We are seeking an experienced BPV Test Lead for a large-scale organization. In this role, you will be responsible for the final validation of IT solutions and products before they are handed over to business stakeholders and operational teams.

As a BPV Test Lead, you ensure that quality standards are maintained across complex delivery trajectories. You guarantee that increments delivered by various partners meet the intended functional requirements and provide the required business value.

Your responsibilities

Test Strategy:
Develop and implement BPV test plans based on comprehensive risk assessments.

Coordination:
Align test requirements (data, automation, environments) and delegate tasks effectively.

Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary link between Tribe Leads, Product Owners, and external partners.

Monitoring:
Manage test results and defects via dashboards and provide regular progress reports.

Optimization:
Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and refine the overall QA strategy.

Profile & skills

We are looking for a professional with a structured approach who can operate effectively in a large-scale, dynamic environment.

Experience:

Approximately 5 years of experience in a similar role with in-depth knowledge of testing methodologies.

Tools:
Proficient in Jira/Xray for defect management and Confluence for documentation.

Expertise:
Strong background in risk-based testing and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Languages:

Fluent in English (working language);
Dutch is highly preferred for internal collaboration.

Proactive, analytical, and capable of constructively challenging teams to ensure quality.
