News Break, Nearby AI, NDot AIAbout the Role News Break is looking for a Local Advertising Sales Manager to help build our local advertiser business — a hybrid Business Development and Account Management role for a seller who understands how local businesses buy. You'll win regional, multi-location, and franchise advertisers in your vertical, open partner channels that reach smaller businesses at scale, and turn what works into a playbook the team can repeat market by market.
Local advertising is a top commercial priority for News Break. This is a senior, quota-carrying position.
Where You'll Focus Local advertisers buy differently depending on their size and their industry, so this role is defined by both.

Local Marketing Partners:
Agencies, resellers, and marketing service providers that help us reach small businesses we can't serve efficiently one by one.
Verticals News Break 's local advertising business spans a wide range of categories, and we expect that range to keep growing. Representative categories include:

Agents and brokerages, mortgage lenders, insurance agencies, and local banks and credit unions.
Restaurants, Retail & Entertainment:
Restaurants, regional retail chains, local events, and attractions.
Education:
Tutoring, preschools, driving schools, and private schools.
This list is not exhaustive. You'll start in the category that best matches your background and our current priorities, and the team's coverage will expand into more local advertising categories as the business grows.
Responsibilities Vertical Ownership:
