You will be given autonomy to make your own decisions while having the necessary support for you to successfully deliver projects.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering and signing off structural designs for a wide range of residential housing developments. You’ll work closely with design teams, clients, and local authorities to ensure compliance with building standards and regulations. Your role will involve:

• Leading structural design for housing projects
• Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
• Ensuring all work complies with SER protocols and Scottish Building Standards
• Managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
• Providing technical oversight and mentoring junior engineers

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Degree qualified in Structural Engineering or other relevant subject
• Chartered Engineer status (CEng)
• Proven experience delivering structural engineering solutions in residential projects
• Strong understanding of Scottish Building Regulations
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
