Class 1 Rail Driver

We are looking to recruit HGV Class 1 Drivers to work on our Rail (Containers) operation.

The Rail work is a container operation and will involve moving curtain sided containers in and out of ESL rail terminals throughout the UK. It will also include loading and unloading at our customer sites. Skeletal trailer training and curtain sided box training will be provided.

• Mon‑Fri Days – £14.00 per hour (including Meal allowance)
• Mon‑Fri Night Shift – £15.30 per hour (including Meal allowance)
• Saturday & Sunday Day Shift – £17.00 per hour (including Meal allowance)
• Saturday & Sunday Night Shift – £17.50 per hour (including Meal allowance)
• Bank Holidays – £17.81 per hour (including Meal allowance)

• 6 months Class 1 experience
• Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card
• No more than 6 points on your Licence with no DD/DR Code convictions
• Understand and comply with Drivers hours and WTD legislation
• Able to carry out vehicle checks and report defects correctly
• Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements
• Excellent communication skills
