• Design, develop, and document scalable, robust, and secure software solutions specifically for the education sector.
• Provide technical leadership, drive decision-making, mentor team members, and ensure adherence to best practices and standards throughout the product lifecycle.
• Work closely with product managers, educational specialists, and clients to translate requirements into technical solutions and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Assist in technical roadmap planning, effort estimation, stay updated on emerging trends, and identify / drive opportunities for innovation and technology adoption.
• Continuously evaluate and improve existing systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability, while ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and privacy standards.
• Oversee the implementation of architectural solutions, troubleshoot technical challenges, and address concerns related to performance, reliability, and usability.

• A relevant tertiary degree would be beneficial (Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.)
• 10+ years in software architecture and product development.
• High proficiency in Java, Angular, or other back-end and front-end technologies.
• Expertise in microservices architecture, integration design, and best practices.
• Deep knowledge of database design, specifically mySQL.
• Proven experience in end-to-end solution design and complex project implementation.
• Ability to translate solutions into technical software design documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire technical teams.
• Key responsibilities include developing solution strategies, analyzing the technology environment, creating prototypes, providing leadership through the delivery process, and supporting Agile teams.
