Pixl Evolution is committed to delivering profitable, high quality live and studio events. As a Project Manager, you will interpret client briefs, manage projects from concept to completion, and help drive strong client relationships and new business opportunities.

Purpose of the Role

The Project Manager ensures every event is delivered to the highest standard by managing client communication, project planning, technical specifications, crew coordination, budgeting, and onsite execution. You will work closely with the Pixl team to maintain excellence and support ongoing departmental development.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop strong client relationships and conduct client visits as needed.
  • Discuss event requirements directly with clients and maintain detailed briefs.
  • Produce accurate quotations, proposals, and supporting documentation.
  • Work with project and operations teams to translate briefs into technical specifications.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle from pre production through onsite completion.
  • Coordinate freelance crew, sub hire equipment, and transportation requirements.
  • Lead and support freelance crew during onsite delivery.
  • Produce and maintain all project documentation including health and safety materials.
  • Control project budgets and provide invoicing information to Accounts.
  • Research emerging technologies and share updates with the Technical Director.
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve departmental processes and client engagement.
  • Partner with the sales team to help identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at trade shows when appropriate.
  • Provide project support outside normal business hours when required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Technical Director.
Experience and Behaviors
  • Essential : Demonstrated experience in audio visual production, live events, broadcast, or related technical event environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and production professionals.
  • Strong organizational skills and confident decision making.
  • Ability to travel, including at short notice when needed.
  • Positive, proactive attitude that motivates others and maintains team morale.
  • Commitment to following company policies, procedures, and management instruction.
