Location

Based in Bern. In Bern, you will find training and simulation solutions for armed forces on land, at sea and in the air, for police authorities, and for helicopter operators worldwide.

Mission
  • Take on the strategic and operational overall responsibility for our business operations.
  • Actively design efficient, scalable and cost‑optimised processes and ensure their continuous improvement.
  • Disciplinary leadership of the Bid and Projects teams and targeted development of your employees.
  • Lead and further develop the entire bid and project portfolio of the Training & Simulation Switzerland business area and report directly to the division management.
  • Ensure reliable project planning and control, including deviation management, regular project reviews, and comprehensive risk and opportunity analyses.
  • Responsible for bid calculations, effort and cost estimates, and the consistent application and tailoring of internal rules and guidelines.
  • Continuously optimise processes in bid and project management and strengthen the exchange within the Thales Switzerland B&P network.
  • Work closely with product management and internal and external interfaces to successfully implement product strategies and ensure smooth information flow.
  • Manage resources efficiently, develop employees, and ensure customer satisfaction by achieving all defined milestones in bids and projects.
Qualifications
  • Successfully completed studies in business administration or a comparable field.
  • Several years of experience in bid and project management.
  • Leadership experience and strong technical understanding.
  • Excellent German and English skills.
  • IPMA certification.
  • Comprehensive product, customer and market knowledge in the defense and simulation sector.
  • Strong social skills and pronounced process and customer orientation.
  • Motivation, confident appearance and high reliability.
