Infrastructure Support Engineer – Bern (Ostermundigen)

We are looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our teams in Bern (Ostermundigen) and support the planning and coordination of maintenance activities for pharmaceutical packaging lines in a regulated manufacturing environment.

• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed maintenance and infrastructure planning using Microsoft Project, ensuring clear timelines, dependencies, and resource allocation for packaging lines.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities and infrastructure shutdowns in close collaboration with technical specialists, maintenance teams, and production stakeholders.
• Support operational maintenance (Betriebsunterhalt) activities, ensuring alignment between maintenance planning and day‑to‑day manufacturing operations.
• Act as a central planning interface between Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and external service providers, ensuring smooth coordination and minimal production disruption.
• Ensure maintenance schedules are realistic, up to date, and compliant with site constraints and regulatory requirements.
• Support project and maintenance documentation, tracking progress, milestones, and deviations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, and coordination methods within the infrastructure and maintenance scope.
• Operate in full compliance with pharmaceutical standards, site procedures, and safety requirements.

• Proven experience in project planning and scheduling, with strong expertise in Microsoft Project (mandatory).
• Solid background in infrastructure support, maintenance planning, or operational maintenance within an industrial environment.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Practical knowledge of MS Excel; experience with SAP and SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) is an asset.
• Fluent German is mandatory for daily collaboration on site; good English skills are a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and multidisciplinary teams.
• Structured, reliable, and detail‑oriented working style, with strong coordination and planning capabilities.
• Comfortable working in a regulated and operationally critical environment, supporting both projects and ongoing maintenance activities.
