The role

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance (QA) Consultant to assess, implement and oversee QA strategies, driving integrated quality across all stages of the software development life cycle for our clients. You will lead quality assurance initiatives, seamlessly influencing project success and customer satisfaction.

You will work closely with our clients, offering guidance and ensure high-quality service delivery. While a deep understanding of testing techniques is important, this role is not about traditional testing. Instead, it centers on empowering others to incorporate quality into their processes and achieving built-in quality.

How you’ll make impact

You will focus on built-in quality throughout the entire development cycle with your extensive know-how in efficient implementation.

With your holistic view on quality assurance, you will conduct comprehensive analyses of existing QA setups and frameworks, identify gaps and propose improvements.

You foster strong relationships with clients, including executive management and technical stakeholders, to understand their quality expectations and align them with our practices.

You develop QA strategies and processes tailored to client`s environment and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to integrate these into their development life cycle.

Your enthusiasm for quality is contagious, and you enjoy actively sharing your knowledge.

Your experience in software testing, test management, automation, and tooling helps you to advise and coach stakeholders in a targeted manner.

What’s important to us

Minimum 5 years of experience as QA in agile software development projects or related roles.

You have a university degree (university of applied sciences, university, ETH) with a focus on IT or equivalent qualifications.

You have in-depth knowledge of international standards (e.g. ISTQB, ISO 9001) and are familiar with various testing procedures.

You have a solid understanding and hands-on experience with agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).

You have strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

You are familiar with manual and exploratory testing, as well as test processes and test strategies.

Your experience in test management and a solid understanding of test automation round off the whole package.

You have strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
