** The role
** We are seeking a strategic Digital Transformation Lead to drive the next phase of our enterprise transformation journey at Bavarian Nordic. Over the past 18 months, we have evolved from a finance-focused system to a full ERP platform, established a dedicated Supply Chain organization, and built a cross-functional Digital Transformation function that connects IT, business operations, and external partners.

As we continue to scale, this role will be pivotal in leading the execution of our ERP and business transformation program—ensuring harmonized end-to-end processes, integrated systems, and strong adoption across functions. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business strategy and technical execution, safeguarding compliance while laying the foundation for advanced digital capabilities such as data governance, analytics, AI, and MVP  addition to ERP delivery, the role will also serve as product owner (up to 20%) for select advanced technology pilots—accelerating our digital ambition by ensuring these initiatives align with enterprise architecture, deliver measurable business value, and are scalable beyond initial deployment.

The position reports to the Head of Digital Transformation, Supply Chain, and can be based in either Denmark or Switzerland. Candidates based in Switzerland should expect to travel to Denmark approximately one week per month.

* Key responsibilities:

* ** Program Execution & Governance:
** Lead day-to-day execution of ERP and digital transformation programs, translating strategy into actionable roadmaps and ensuring key milestones are delivered on time and to quality
* ** Process & Integration:
** Collaborate with Global Process Owners and consulting teams to align ERP design with global standards and ensure seamless integration across functions and systems
* ** Data & Change Enablement:
** Drive data readiness in partnership with Data Transformation Managers and Process Owners. Support change management to embed new roles, processes, and adoption metrics
* ** Advanced Tech & MVP Pilots:
** Act as product owner for select digital pilots (e.g., AI forecasting, RPA, GPT assistants), ensuring alignment with architecture and governance. Translate ideas into MVPs and scale successful pilots
* ** Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
** Serve as the daily interface with ERP vendors and internal IT. Manage dependencies, escalate risks, and ensure accountability across streams
* ** Future Proofing:
** Ensure ERP and data foundations support future capabilities in automation, analytics, and decision intelligence

* What you bring:

** To succeed in this role, you’ll need a proven track record of leading cross-functional programs and balancing short-term delivery with long-term digital innovation. You bring deep expertise in ERP platforms (D365 or SAP) and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. Besides this, we are looking for someone with the following background:
* Experience shaping and managing digital pilots or MVPs—ideally in AI or advanced analytics
* Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to connect strategic vision to operational execution
* 8–14 years of experience in ERP and digital transformation within pharma, biotech, or other highly regulated industries
