Feedback and Governance Coordinator

The job itself

The Information Governance and Feedback Team are seeking a Feedback and Governance Coordinator to join a well-established team within Legal and Democratic Services. The post holder will have a key role within the organisation helping manage feedback and Ombudsman activity across the organisation.

The role will be involved in coordinating and supporting the data protection and freedom of information function within the Council, managing requests and dealing with data protection incidents. The post holder will be involved with wider Governance arrangements across the Council ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, monitoring and reporting.

This role does work to legislative and statutory deadlines. In addition the role does require the review and redaction of sensitive information which may contain offending incidents or social care information.
