We’re looking for a skilled **.NET Developer
** with strong experience in
** C#
** and backend development to join our growing technology team. You’ll be responsible for building scalable, maintainable solutions using .NET technologies and leveraging cloud services, particularly
** Microsoft Azure**.
*
* Key Responsibilities:

*** Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-availability applications using C#.
* Build RESTful Web APIs to facilitate communication between front-end and back-end systems.
* Implement Azure Functions for serverless computing solutions.
* Utilise Azure API Management (APIM) to create, document, and manage APIs in a secure and scalable environment.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions within the Hastings Direct infrastructure.
* Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews and deployment processes.
* Stay current with the latest .NET and Azure features to drive innovation within the company.
** Skills we would love you to have:
*** Proficient in C# with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
* Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications using .NET Core / .NET 6+.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Understanding of the software development lifecycle and continuous improvement practices.
* Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and tools such as Octane, Azure Dev Ops or similar platforms.
* Comfortable working in Visual Studio and related development tools.
** Desirable:
*** Experience with other Azure services such as Azure Functions, Application Insights, App Configuration
* Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and Agile methodologies.
* Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, and mocking tools like Moq.
* Relevant Azure certifications
