Sales Account Manager

Role Overview :
Our client is seeking a motivated and commercially minded Business Development Manager to join their fast-growing organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving revenue growth within a supportive and ambitious environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively generate new business through networking, cold outreach, and attendance at industry events

• Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients

• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to deal closure

• Conduct market and competitor research to identify growth opportunities

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are understood and met

• Provide regular updates and reports on sales activity and performance

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business development, sales, or account management

• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a consultative approach

• Target-driven mindset with a proven ability to achieve or exceed sales goals

• Confidence in prospecting and converting cold leads into opportunities

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

Desirable:

• Experience with in the construction sector or a related industry

• Understanding of estimating or professional services environments

Package:
• £25,000 – £30,000 basic salary
