Job Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in Bhubaneswar. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience in database management and will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing database operations. This role requires expertise in day-to-day database administration tasks and ensuring the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, and performance.

Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience in managing Mysql, postgresql, and mongodb (Mandatory skill) for a minimum of 4 years.
Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with redis and cassandra configurations.
Hands-on experience with database optimization, schema design, and query tuning.
Proven track record in solving complex database issues swiftly and effectively.
Familiarity with backup and recovery software for database environments is desirable.
Good understanding of cloud-native database solutions and deployments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle critical database issues under pressure.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with development, operations and business teams.

Roles and Responsibilities
Manage, monitor, and maintain all aspects of Jio's database environment ensuring maximum uptime.
Implement and monitor database backups and perform recovery operations as necessary.
Optimize database performance through advanced performance tuning and maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for development, monitoring, and deployment of database systems.
Ensure databases are secure and standards for data protection are maintained.
Resolve database issues and escalate as necessary ensuring minimum impact on business operations.
Maintain documentation for database configurations, operations, and maintenance procedures.
Stay current with technology trends, particularly in cloud-native and database technologies.
