Client Manager - Growing Accountancy Practice

£50,000 - £65,000 DOE + Progression Opportunity

Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be exclusively working with a fast growing accountancy firm in Bicester who are looking for a Client Manager (Accounts) to join their team. You will take ownership of a significant client portfolio and play a key role in the strategic and operational delivery of services across accounts, tax and advisory.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, ambitious individual who enjoys managing client relationships, leading teams and being part of a supportive environment, with the opportunity to grow with the company as it continues to expand.

• Managing a large client portfolio
• Reviewing statutory accounts prepared under FRS 102/105
• Overseeing and reviewing corporation tax, personal tax and VAT returns
• Providing advisory support including tax planning and business consultancy
• Line managing and mentoring junior and mid-level staff
• Supporting partners with department development and workflow management
• Attending client meetings and building long-term relationships

• ACA or ACCA qualified status (ICAEW Practicing Certified ideal)
• Extensive experience in a UK accountancy practice (senior level highly advantageous)
• Experience managing large client portfolios
• Strong technical knowledge across accounts, tax and compliance
• Experience using systems such as CCH, Xero, Sage or similar
• Proven ability to manage and develop teams
• A proactive and relationship-focused approach
• Confident in client engagements
