Machine Operative – Print Company – Sandy/Gamlingay – £12.21 per hour

Are you an experienced Machine Operative looking for a new opportunity in a fast-paced and growing print production environment? Our client, a well-established print company based in Stevenage, is seeking a motivated Machine Operative to join their team on an ongoing basis, with the potential to become a permanent member of staff.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7am – 4pm
Contract Type:
Ongoing, with a view to permanent employment

As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery within the print department, ensuring high-quality output and meeting daily production targets. This position would also suit someone who has worked as a Machine Operator, Production Operative, or Manufacturing Operative looking to develop their skills within a reputable print company.

• Operate and monitor machinery in a print production environment
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on machines
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and deadlines
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Work collaboratively with other Machine Operatives and production staff

• Previous experience as a Machine Operative, Machine Operator, Production Operative, or Print Machine Operative
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Previous experience working in a print company or printing environment (desirable but not essential)
• Familiarity with print production machinery or experience as a Print Production Assistant
