Project Controls Engineer

Position: Project Controls Engineer (Permanent, Contract)
We’re recruiting for a Project Control Engineer to support major Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) projects for a leading player in the industrial energy sector.

You’ll be responsible for the full project controls function, covering planning, scheduling, cost control, risk analysis, and forecasting. Working closely with project managers, you’ll help drive delivery performance and support decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain project controls framework
Monitor performance across engineering, procurement, and construction
Conduct schedule risk assessments and optimise project delivery
Report on deviations, propose corrective actions, and update forecasts Requirements:

Degree in Engineering (preferred)
Proven experience in E&I project planning and contracting
Proficient in Primavera P3/P6
Strong analytical and organisational skills
