Shop Floor Supervisor

Wolviston Group are proud to be supporting a long-established precision engineering business in their search for a Shop Floor Supervisor/ / CNC Programmer. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based in Stockton-on-Tees, offering the chance to join a close-knit, technically skilled team within a well-equipped modern facility. Key Responsibilities:

CNC programming and setup of Fanuc-controlled machines (turning and/or milling).
Overseeing daily shop floor operations.
Leading and mentoring machinists and apprentices.
Ensuring production schedules, quality, and safety standards are met.
Process optimisation and technical problem-solving.  Essential Requirements:
 
Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
Proven CNC programming experience with Fanuc controls.
Strong background in precision machining.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Previous supervisory or team-leading experience.
