CNC Machinist / Programmer

Bromborough | Permanent | £18 per hour + late shift allowance

We are recruiting an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our client's manufacturing team in Bromborough. You will program, set and operate 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machining centres, producing precision components mainly in aluminium and stainless steel. You will also provide technical support to CNC operators.

Shifts

Days:
Mon–Thu 08:00–16:30, Fri 08:00–14:00
Lates:
Mon–Thu 16:30–01:00, Fri 14:00–20:00 (shift allowance applies)

Key Duties

Program, set and run CNC machining centres

Read and work from engineering drawings

Produce parts to tight tolerances

First-off inspection and self-checking

Support production staff and report issues

Basic machine maintenance and housekeeping

Follow production plans and H&S procedures

Requirements

CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment

Siemens and/or Heidenhain control experience preferred

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Flexible to work shifts

Well organised with good communication skills
