Veterinary Surgeon

Job Description

We are a well‑established small animal practice on the Wirral Peninsula, staffed by 4 vets, 4 RVNs, 1 SVN and a non‑clinical team of 4. We provide a fully equipped service that includes digital X‑ray, colour Doppler ultrasound, ECG, diathermy, and advanced dental equipment.

• Work full‑time in a team environment, providing clinical care, surgery, and client communication.
• Manage a varied caseload with the capacity to work sole charge for consultations and procedures.
• Adhere to a 37‑hour week with a 1 in 5 Saturday‑morning‑only weekend rota and no out‑of‑hours or on‑call duties.
• Support the practice’s growth mindset, including participation in continuing professional development and, where applicable, certificate level study.

• Competitive salary between £45,000 and £60,000 (DOE).
• Sign‑on bonus and a further payment on successful completion of probation.
