Full-time, Permanent A leading and rapidly expanding food manufacturing business in Blackpool is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join its growing team. As the company continues to scale, this role will play a key part in strengthening quality processes and driving high standards across the site.

The Role The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and food safety within the facility. Managing a team of 8 Quality Technicians, they will ensure the site consistently meets customer expectations, internal standards, and regulatory requirements. This position is ideal for a quality professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys building strong, scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of 8 Quality Technicians Overseeing site-wide quality assurance and food safety processes Ensuring compliance with BRC, HACCP, GMP, and customer-specific standards Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the quality function Managing internal audits, external inspections, and customer audits Investigating non-conformances and implementing corrective actions Maintaining and updating quality management systems and documentation Working collaboratively with Production, Technical, and NPD teams Candidate Requirements The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous experience as a Quality Manager or senior Quality/Technical professional within food manufacturing Strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP, GMP, and relevant food safety legislation Excellent communication, leadership, and team development skills A hands-on approach with the ability to influence key stakeholders Confidence working in a fast-moving factory environment Interested in this opportunity?
