They’re now looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take on more responsibility, drive audit quality, manage client relationships, and lead audit teams — all while continuing to develop professionally in a supportive and technically excellent environment.

• Leading audits from planning through to completion, including risk assessment and the design of audit procedures tailored to engagement‑specific risks.
• Managing budgets and job progress, flagging any overruns or additional services required and communicating effectively with managers and clients.
• Reviewing and preparing statutory financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS, with a strong grasp of complex or non‑standard transactions and their audit implications.
• Leading internal planning, progress, and close meetings, ensuring critical issues are addressed and clearly understood by the team.
• Supervising audit fieldwork and ensuring testing is thorough, efficient, and continually improved through lessons learned and points forward.
• Supporting workflow management and flexible team resourcing based on deadlines and client needs.
• Mentoring and developing junior team members, providing technical guidance, feedback, and hands‑on support to strengthen their growth.

• Solid experience in audit across a range of sectors, with a proven ability to manage audits independently.
• Strong understanding of audit and accounting standards (UK GAAP, IFRS), including experience with group audits and unusual or complex transactions.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
