About the Role

The Business Support Admin Assistant (Grade
2) will provide essential administrative and clerical support across a range of services within the Trust.

This role covers a secondment and requires someone who can work flexibly across multiple teams and locations, attending the office at least two days per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high‑quality professional support to internal and external customers
  • Delivering reception and switchboard duties, along with general clerical support
  • Supporting meetings, including note‑taking and timely distribution of outputs
  • Maintaining and operating administrative systems with accuracy and consistency
  • Handling business and financial processes, including dealing with queries and handling monies
  • Maintaining accurate data and records in line with data protection requirements
  • Upholding confidentiality, safety and security at all times
  • Working flexibly across services and adapting to changing priorities

    Contributing to effective service delivery through strong organisation and attention to detail
Candidate Requirements Essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build effective relationships
  • High attention to detail and consistency
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage changing priorities
  • Good IT literacy and confidence using administrative systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow data protection principles
Desirable
  • Ability to identify opportunities to improve systems and processes
Qualifications
  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths (Grade C or above)
  • A good standard of general education with strong literacy and numeracy
