About the RoleThe Business Support Admin Assistant (Grade
2) will provide essential administrative and clerical support across a range of services within the Trust.
This role covers a secondment and requires someone who can work flexibly across multiple teams and locations, attending the office at least two days per week.
Key Responsibilities- Providing high‑quality professional support to internal and external customers
- Delivering reception and switchboard duties, along with general clerical support
- Supporting meetings, including note‑taking and timely distribution of outputs
- Maintaining and operating administrative systems with accuracy and consistency
- Handling business and financial processes, including dealing with queries and handling monies
- Maintaining accurate data and records in line with data protection requirements
- Upholding confidentiality, safety and security at all times
- Working flexibly across services and adapting to changing priorities
Contributing to effective service delivery through strong organisation and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build effective relationships
- High attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work flexibly and manage changing priorities
- Good IT literacy and confidence using administrative systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow data protection principles
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve systems and processes
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths (Grade C or above)
- A good standard of general education with strong literacy and numeracy
