Senior Architectural Technologist Job Overview Lead and oversee the technical delivery of projects across all RIBA Stages 1-6 Prepare, coordinate, and manage detailed working drawings, technical packages, and specifications using Revit and AutoCAD Translate design concepts into robust, buildable solutions while maintaining design integrity Liaise confidently with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams throughout project stages Work across a diverse portfolio including education, residential, commercial, and transport sectors Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the technical team Contribute to design reviews and promote best practice in sustainable and innovative construction techniques Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, technical standards, and quality assurance procedures Play an active role in supporting the strategic delivery of projects on time and within budget Senior Architectural Technologist

Job Requirements Degree-qualified in Architectural Technology or equivalent discipline Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in a UK-based practice Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD (essential) Working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign (advantageous) Excellent technical and detailing ability, with a strong eye for design quality and accuracy Comprehensive knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methodologies Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills Ability to manage workload effectively, working both independently and collaboratively Based within a commutable distance of central Birmingham Senior Architectural Technologist Salary & Benefits Competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000, depending on experience 20 days holiday plus bank holidays and Christmas shutdown Hybrid and flexible working hours - core hours 9:30am to 5:00pm Pension scheme and funded professional memberships Supportive environment with clear professional development and progression opportunities Opportunity to help shape the studio's evolving technical and design direction Friendly, inclusive, and sociable studio culture with regular team events Bennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
