Senior Architect

Location:

Birmingham, England, United Kingdom

Our client is a dynamic, award‑winning international practice delivering high‑quality, innovative projects across commercial, residential, education, and civic sectors. Their Birmingham studio is expanding, and they’re looking for a Senior Architect to join a collaborative team.

As a Senior Architect, you will lead the design, coordination, and delivery of projects from concept to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, and colleagues. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and driving design excellence.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead project design through all RIBA stages, ensuring technical quality and innovation.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and consultants for seamless project delivery.
  • Produce high‑quality architectural drawings and documentation using Revit and BIM workflows.
  • Conduct site visits and oversee construction phases, ensuring compliance, budgets, and timelines.
  • Mentor and support junior architects and technical staff.
  • Contribute to business development and client engagement initiatives.
About You
  • Chartered (ideally, but not essential) Architect (ARB/RIBA) with 8+ years post‑qualification experience.
  • Proven track record leading medium to large‑scale projects.
  • Strong skills in Revit, BIM, technical design, and construction knowledge.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and design skills.
  • Knowledgeable in UK Building Regulations, planning frameworks, and construction processes.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and detail‑oriented.
