£43K-£60K/annum - core training completers and GPs

£60K-£100K - Dermatology Specialty Doctors with UK experience

20 days annual leave plus all bank holidays

10 days study leave

No On calls, no out of hours contract

This is a training contract role for a Dermatology Apprentice at Diamond Skin Care Ltd., located on-site in the Birmingham area. Dependent on experience, 3-4 training days per month will be held in Norwich. The apprentice will train to a high level of proficiency in the delivery of DSC medical dermatology services. The length and exact content of training is determined by your background experience (minimum length 9 months, maximum 4 years to reach consultant level).

At the end of your training, you will:

• Be able to diagnose and manage common and complex conditions with the highest standard of expertise.
• Be able to perform all standard dermatological surgical and non-surgical procedures beyond standard UK training.
• Understand how to design and appraise medical research and medical audits.
• Have produced at least 2 publications in world literature.
• Have experience of presenting at national UK meetings.
• Have the highest earning potential in UK dermatology (Consultant or Centre director for DSC).

Daily tasks include protocoled patient consultations, learning and applying dermatological treatments, maintaining patient records, and supporting the clinical team with day-to-day operations. This role offers hands-on experience in clinical dermatology training along a structured training pathway with practical and written assessments throughout the curriculum. A final exit exam earns you DSC certification as DSC consultant.

DSC consultants have the highest earning potential in UK dermatology - you could be less than 1 year away from this!

• Interest in dermatology and commitment to learning and professional development
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic understanding of patient care and clinical procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively with the clinical team and support staff
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in using medical software and maintaining patient records
• Relevant educational background or certifications in healthcare or dermatology is a plus
• MRCP or equivalent UK medical experience
