About the Company
Our client is a leading Tier 1 main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, large-scale construction projects across the UK. Known for their technical expertise, collaborative culture, and commitment to excellence, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to support a portfolio of major multi-room projects across the West Midlands valued up to £100 million.
The Role
As a Senior Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the successful technical delivery of complex, multi-discipline projects. You will provide engineering leadership on site, ensuring all works meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage engineering activities on large multi-room schemes
Oversee setting-out, site surveys, design coordination and QA processes
Manage and monitor subcontractor works to ensure compliance with specifications and programme
Provide technical support to Site Management and Project Leadership teams
Produce accurate site documentation, reports, and QA records
Drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
About You
Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related field
Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer with a main contractor
Strong technical knowledge across RC frame, structural, civils, or build elements
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
Experience in multi-room, residential, student accommodation, or hotel schemes advantageous
CSCS essential; SMSTS/First Aid desirable
