Senior Town Planner - Birmingham (Hybrid)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + benefits

Are you an experienced Town Planner ready to take the next step in your career? We're partnering with a highly respected national consultancy known for its innovation in land, property, and development services to find a Senior Town Planner to join their growing Birmingham team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across both public and private sectors, from large-scale regeneration schemes to strategic land promotion. You'll be joining a multidisciplinary environment that values collaboration, flexible working, and professional development.

The Role

As Senior Town Planner, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality planning advice and project management. You'll support major planning applications, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to the growth of the team and client base.

Responsibilities include:

Managing a varied caseload of planning projects from inception to completion.

Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals.

Undertaking site appraisals, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

Providing strategic advice to clients across commercial, residential, and infrastructure developments.

Mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to business development activities.

About You

You'll be MRTPI qualified (or working towards it) with a strong understanding of UK planning legislation and policy. You should have experience in consultancy or local authority planning and enjoy a mix of independent and team-based work.

Essential skills:

Proven experience delivering planning projects of varying complexity.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Strong project management and client relationship skills.

A proactive, solution-focused approach.
