• Undertake structural engineering design for discrete packages of work, including the production of reports, calculation packages and specifications.
• Supervise technicians in the production of 3D models and drawings that clearly communicate the structural engineering solutions.
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to produce coordinated design solutions.
• Communicate design solutions verbally and through sketching, drawing, writing, and presentations.
• Visit sites to carry out inspections during the construction phase and to assess existing structures.

• Engineering degree and progress toward Chartered status (MIStruct
  
  E / MICE).
• Working knowledge of structural engineering principles and application of Eurocodes.
• Developing understanding of appropriate use of analytical techniques and design software.
• Interest in low‑carbon design and assessment of embodied carbon in design solutions.
• Willingness to take responsibility for designs, be proactive, and support less experienced team members.

• Successful applicants must be security cleared prior to appointment.
