* Produce high-quality 3D models, assemblies, detailed 2D drawings, tolerance analyses, and engineering documentation.
* Conduct engineering calculations including stress analysis, load assessments, material sizing, motion studies, and kinematic evaluations.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical systems with electrical, structural, scenic, and control components.
* Work with fabrication teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and compatible with workshop capabilities.
* Support prototype builds, mechanical testing, FATs, and system refinement.
* Assist with on-site installation, commissioning, alignment, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.

* Experience designing mechanisms, linkages, motion systems, and moving scenic elements.
* Solid knowledge of materials, tolerancing, GD&T, fastener standards, bearings, actuators, linear motion systems, and safety mechanisms.
* Ability to create clear, production-ready engineering drawings and fabrication packs.
* Experience with FEA tools and motion analysis is advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced project environments.
* Strong understanding of ISO standards, UKCA/CE requirements, machinery directive, and relevant safety regulations
