We’re looking for a passionate and technically sharp Structural Engineer to join our talented Birmingham team and make a real impact.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Deliver high-quality engineering solutions and support project delivery across major UK and international assignments.
  • Work on the design, analysis and checking of structures across sectors — from bridges and tunnels to retaining walls and marine works.
  • Undertake calculations, use a variety of design software and apply international design codes and standards.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, external consultants, and clients.
  • Contribute to managing time, budgets, and project resources efficiently.
  • Adopt standardisation and peer review of technical work to uphold design excellence.
  • Make positive contributions to health and safety on projects and across your work priorities health, safety and wellbeing, by reducing and managing associated risk.
Qualifications
  • A degree in civil or structural engineering (postgrad qualifications welcome).
  • A proactive approach to become a Chartered Engineer (ICE, IStruct

    E).
  • Experience designing complex structures (foundations, bridges, marine structures, etc.) using steel, concrete, or composite materials.
  • A good understanding of structural analysis, construction methods, and advanced numerical modelling.
  • Familiarity with Eurocodes and international design standards.
  • Proficiency in finite element analysis software such as LUSAS, Midas.
  • A collaborative approach with excellent communication and writing skills.
