I am working with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Birmingham, which is looking to expand its planning team. They are currently recruiting for a Planner, Senior Town Planner, and Associate Town Planner to join them on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a well-established consultancy working on a diverse range of projects across residential, commercial, infrastructure, and environmental sectors. The company offers a collaborative and supportive environment with clear career progression pathways.

The Role:

· Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals

· Providing planning advice to clients across various sectors

· Managing projects and liaising with local authorities and stakeholders

· Supporting or leading on site appraisals, planning strategies, and policy reviews

· Mentoring junior staff (Senior and Associate level)

Key Requirements:

· A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline

· MRTPI status (for Senior Planner level) or working towards accreditation for Planner level.

· Experience in planning consultancy or local authority

· Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and relevant legislation

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
