Senior Materials Site Technician

• Hours:40 hours per week, Monday – Friday (occasional night work & weekends with notice)

CTS is a trusted provider of materials testing and quality assurance services across the UK. We support major infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring that safety, durability, and compliance standards are always met.

We are seeking Senior Field Materials Technicians to join our team  this role, you’ll carry out site-based materials testing and play a key part in ensuring quality standards are achieved. You’ll also have opportunities for further development and progression within the business.

• Carry out field testing on materials such as concrete, soils, and asphalt
• Accurately record and report test results in line with project requirements
• Maintain and calibrate field testing equipment
• Work with site teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met

• Previous experience in concrete, soils, or asphalt testing (minimum 5 years)
• Strong practical knowledge of field-based testing methods
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A strong commitment to quality and safety
• Competitive salary: 28-32K (depending on experience).
