Electrical Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior / Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join their Bristol-based team, supporting project delivery across the Midlands, Southwest, and Wales.

Our client works across a broad range of sectors, including residential, commercial, education, healthcare, transport, defence, and energy. Experience in one or more of these sectors would be beneficial.

• Developing a clear understanding of project briefs and client requirements.
• Design and specification of complete electrical building services systems, including power, earthing, lighting, life safety systems, telecommunications, security, access control, lifts, and lightning protection.
• Producing and managing the delivery of detailed engineering calculations using industry-standard software such as Excel, Amtech, Dialux / Relux, and in-house tools.
• Preparing technical specifications using NBS.
• Working collaboratively with international delivery teams to add value to building services projects where appropriate.
• Coordinating with the BIM team to support the production of models and drawings, with a working knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
• Undertaking site surveys, inspections, and monitoring on-site works.
