Engineer Surveyor – Crane & Lifting Equipment.

Birmingham. Salary:
Basic from £40,290, Company Car, Benefits.

Hours:

Monday–Friday with flexible working hours. Role involves visiting client sites to inspect Crane & Lifting equipment and ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.

• Visit client sites to inspect crane and lifting equipment and verify compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.
• Assess equipment condition and decide on future use; operate unsupervised with sound judgment.
• Maintain, service and repair or work with various crane, lifting equipment as required.
• Organise own working day and meet different clients daily (travel within Birmingham area).
• Work at height and in confined spaces when required.

• Ideally NVQ Level 4 or equivalent engineering qualification; minimum NVQ Level 3 with inspection experience or current Engineer Surveyor role considered.
• Knowledge and understanding of LOLER & PUWER regulations.
• Ability to work unsupervised and make decisions about equipment condition and future use.
• Ability to work at height and in confined spaces.
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to influence customers.
• Resident in or around the Birmingham area.

• Basic salary from £40,290; NVQ Level 4 £ 42,432 with potential salary progression
• Company car, bonus, overtime, pension, 33 days holiday (inc bank holidays)
• Opportunity to progress into Management, Technical Specialist and other senior roles
• 40-hour week, Monday – Friday, with travel
• Regular performance reviews
