Are you a Transport Planner or Engineer looking to join a growing transport planning consultancy offering an integrated approach to transport planning and highways design?

This well-established transport planning and highways consultancy has been operating for over 20 years, working on varied projects with major commercial developers, local authorities, and residential clients. The company provides expertise in development transport planning, S278/38 highways design, drainage, environmental planning, and project delivery.
On offer is the opportunity to become a key contributor to the growth of the Birmingham team as one of the founding members of the new office within a company that offer ongoing training, mentor opportunities, and support towards career progression.
You will work collaboratively within the transport planning group, producing high-quality technical outputs. The role will also involve managing the lifecycle of projects, undertaking junction modelling, liaising with clients and authorities, and supporting junior team members.
This role would suit a Transport Planner or Engineer looking to join a growing transport planning consultancy offering an integrated approach to transport planning and highways design.
The role:
* Preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans
* Preparing and presenting technical data and drawings
* Liaising with clients, contractors, and local and national authorities
* Supporting Team Leaders in delivering highways and transport advice
* Monday-Friday 9-5:30
* Playing an active role in establishing and growing the Birmingham office
The person:
* Transport Planner or similar
* Good understanding of UK transport planning standards and processes
* Commutable to Birmingham
