Description:

Multi Site - Senior Assistant Accountant / Management Accountant

The role involves producing management accounts, management information, and manufacturer returns in a format that enables effective decision-making by management.

Responsibilities include:

Producing monthly site and consolidated management accounts to specified deadlines.

Familiarizing the Financial Controller and General Managers with down areas.

Ensuring all control accounts are reconciled monthly.

Reconciling certain stock accounts monthly with physical counts.

Adhering to accounting procedures throughout the department and the company.

Undertaking internal audits as required.

Preparing and submitting manufacturer returns.

Consolidating group profit forecasts weekly, quarterly, and on an ad-hoc basis.

Analyzing and comparing financial and non-financial key indicators, presenting findings to management.

Assisting with working capital management, including controlling funding/loan accounts and forecasting cash flow.

Preparing statutory year-end accounts and supporting documentation.

Drafting budgets (capital and revenue) in collaboration with General Managers and the Financial Controller.

Participating in management meetings and training sessions.

Providing financial advice to General and Line Management.

Operating the Kerridge system.
