Group Financial Controller – TXP
Join TXP, a fast-paced, technology and consulting leader, to drive financial strategy and operational excellence.
Role OverviewAs Group Financial Controller, you will lead the finance function for a medium-sized, PE‑backed business. You will manage month‑end close, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and strategic decision‑making. The role is hybrid – 2‑3 days per week from our Birmingham office.
Key Responsibilities- Own month‑end close and preparation of management accounts for all entities.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and investor reporting.
- Develop the finance team across TXP Group, driving best practice and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Manage external audits, liaise with auditors and advisors.
- Support CFO with board packs and investor reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes and reporting.
- Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight and support decision‑making.
- Oversee tax, treasury, statutory reporting requirements.
- Support M&A due diligence and integration.
- ACA/ACCA qualified, ideally from a Big 4 or Top 10 firm.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP/IFRS); international experience an advantage.
- Experience in audit, controls and financial reporting.
- Commercial mindset with interest in business operations.
- Comfortable in fast‑paced, evolving environments.
- Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration and resilience skills.
