This role provides finance support to Directors, Heads of Department and managers of designated divisions, collaboratively managing all finances associated with delivering operational outcomes.
Your role will involve conducting monthly budget reforecasting for assigned divisions, updating the monthly outturn forecast, and ensuring that any variances from current plans are identified and addressed appropriately. You will also contribute to the preparation of monthly management reports alongside colleagues in the FP&P team, including variance analysis and commentary that highlights key risks and opportunities.
You will support the annual business planning and budgeting setting process and ensure that monthly expenditure phasing is kept up to date to support cashflow management and help plan workloads across support functions.
This role will act as a trusted advisor, providing financial information, analysis, insights, and challenge to stakeholders, helping them make more informed decisions and ensuring alignment with business strategy.
