What you will do
  • Provide expert guidance and support to a team of social workers in the safeguarding team, ensuring high standards of practice.
  • Take the lead in complex cases, conducting thorough assessments and developing robust plans to protect vulnerable individuals.
  • Collaborate effectively with external agencies to coordinate multi-agency responses and interventions.
  • Offer mentorship and coaching, enhancing the skills of fellow team members.
  • Attend case conferences and review meetings, presenting findings and recommendations clearly and confidently.
Requirements
  • Must be registered with Social Work England to ensure professional standards and accountability.
  • Should possess recent UK experience working within social work to bring valuable insights and knowledge to the team.
