About The Role

As a Locum Optometrist at Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care, you will provide high‑quality eye care services across various branch locations on a flexible basis. Your role will involve conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing vision problems, and recommending appropriate optical products or treatments. • Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye conditions
• Prescribe and fit spectacles and contact lenses tailored to individual patient needs
• Provide expert advice on eye health, vision correction, and preventative care
• Refer patients to specialist services when necessary and maintain accurate patient records
• Ensure compliance with professional guidelines and company policies
• Work collaboratively with branch teams to maintain smooth clinic operations
• Keep up‑to‑date with the latest developments in optometry and optical technology

We are seeking a qualified and registered Optometrist with a passion for delivering excellent patient care. You should hold full registration with the General Optical Council (GOC) and have experience providing a wide range of optometric services. Flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently across multiple locations are essential.
