Healthcare Assistant – Birmingham, West Midlands

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to support a teenage boy who lives at home with his family in Birmingham and requires 1:1 support to attend school safely.

Apollo Home Healthcare does not hold a sponsorship licence. Therefore, we are unable to consider applications from individuals who require sponsorship to work in the UK, either currently or in the future.

The client is a friendly and engaging teenage boy who enjoys spending time on his iPad, playing my Nintendo Switch, going bowling, watching films at the cinema, cooking, and relaxing in the garden. The role involves building a positive, supportive relationship while promoting his comfort, safety, and wellbeing throughout the school day.

You will provide hands‑on support during school hours, including assistance with personal care, moving and handling, administering medication, and supporting his clinical and complex health needs as required. Your role will be vital in helping him access his education safely and confidently.

• 3 months’ care experience
